Let us pretend you are a brand new custom-pool client (which, hopefully, you will be). Your new pool’s journey starts when you initiate the relationship with Goodall Pools & Spas.
Phase 1 of the pool building process begins when you complete a brief online form detailing your interest in a custom pool. This is where we collect essential information such as your name, contact information, address (including municipality), etc. Additionally, we ask what type of pool you would like (e.g., vinyl-liner, fiberglass, beach pools ) as well as some basic background questions about your experience having a swimming pool at your house.
Once we receive that initial information, a member of our staff will follow up with you and provide information on our suite of services. At this time, we will also provide
If these parameters are agreeable to you, we will schedule an appointment for you to meet with one of our design specialists. This can be done either in person (at your home) or virtually (using satellite-based technology such as Google Earth).
During this consultation, our specialist will brainstorm design specifics with you based on your goals and budget. Specifically, you will discuss:
With these elements established, you and the design specialist will discuss a tentative start date for the project. During the design phase, we’ll also send staff to measure your property and reconcile the measurements with the design plans. This is also when we connect with your local jurisdiction to see if any property restrictions are in place (e.g. setbacks, easements, drain areas, etc.).
After the design consultation, we draft a design proposal. At this point, the pool project is rendered in a virtual reality program, and we compose a menu of the design features and their prices for you to review. From here, we make any necessary/requested revisions and adjust the cost accordingly. When the pool’s design and cost are finalized, we draw up a contract and establish a deposit amount.
As your project moves through the initial contact and design consultation stages, we make sure that the cost estimate is tailored according to the evolving design plans. At the same time, we work with you to explore financing options that will support the project.
