High-End vs. Entry-Level Spas

High-End vs Entry-Level Spas

Are you looking for the perfect spa to add to your home? A spa is a wonderful luxury to have unlimited access to right in your backyard. As you search for your oasis of relaxation, you will come across various brands and styles of spas. Determining the difference between high-end vs entry-level spas will help you select the best hot tub for your family. Goodall Pools & Spas has been installing spas for more than 20 years. Let us help you easily recognize a high-end or entry-level spa.

Initial Saving vs. Investing and Saving

The cost is one big difference that separates entry-level spas from high-end spas. An entry-level is much less expensive at the initial purchase. However, the money that you “save” on your purchase will quickly disappear as you pay to use the spa.

Investing in a high-end spa means you’re saving money in the long run. Your purchase amount will be higher, but operation costs and maintenance will be much lower.

Short Term Replacement vs. Long Term Relaxation

Another thing to think about when you’re deciding which type of spa to buy is the known lifespan of each type. An entry-level spa will give you some amount of relaxation, but it will only last around 5-7 years. This means when the hot tub stops working, you will be back to square one for a new purchase.

On the other hand, a high-end spa is with you for the long haul. Most high-end spas provide ultimate hydrotherapy for well over 20 years. This is very reassuring when you think about the longevity of your purchase.

Plethora of Jets vs. Purposeful Jets

When you consider a spa purchase, you’re obviously going to look at the number of jets the hot tub has and what they can do for you. However, quantity definitely does not mean quality when it comes to the massage the jets provide.

A spa that is entry-level quality might have a plethora of jets. But don’t be fooled by the basic, one-directional jets you see. These jets give no variety in their hydrotherapy. They also require large jet pumps to give an effective massage, which just means more energy costs.

A spa of a higher caliber will provide just the right amount of jets for the ultimate massage. The jets will be strategically placed, and they will give different types of massaging options.

Basic and Simple vs. Beautiful and Satisfying

The final thing to clarify as you study high-end vs entry-level spas is the materials and features with which they are crafted. Entry-level spas are generally simple, plastic shells with inexpensive parts and insulation. The interior is basic as well, with little to no design for comfort.

High-end spas are made from durable, energy-efficient components. Their beautiful, acrylic shells and excellent insulation are what help to make them last so long. They also offer comfortable, sculpted seats or lounge seats. Many also have neck rests, armrests, and footbeds in their design as well.
We proudly carry high-end Sundance® Spas and Viking Spas™. These superior quality machines will provide you the high quality and the hydrotherapy that you want and deserve. Reserve your high-end spa at any of our retail locations today.
